A lazy afternoon
21 September 2018 : 5 weeks (1 month)
We’re trying to get into a routine.
Following a lazy afternoon of boobing in the courtyard, we cuddled in the lazy afternoon sun by the window as Lochie slept on my lap.
Then it was time for play! We had tummy time. It was uneventful. Am I doing it right?

After a few seconds of tummy time, Lochie got squeaky. Whiskey did what he always does as soon as Lochie demands my attention: make himself into a rug and demand cuddles too, to test where my loyalties lie. So there I was with Lochie on my shoulder, playing chasey with Whiskey. Whiskey hid, lunged at me, hugged my foot then ran away.
All this activity got Lochie energised and it was tricky to calm him with a dummy so we could have dinner. We watched an episode of Ozark while Lochie had boob and 50ml formula. He was soggy at 8pm so we bathed him. No tears! He enjoyed watching us in the mirror. The water was 38.4C, cooled down to 37C and he seemed happy throughout the bathing experience. There were also no tears upon exiting although also no poop. He cried while I dressed him. Gas is still a problem. Finally he calmed down with our loud music during music appreciation hour in the study, as he boobed and passed out. I practically had to peel a nipple off his face. Bill Evans reminded us why Everybody Digs Bill Evans. Don played air jazz piano. Now Don is doing the first part of the night and it is my night off!
